- ServiceMix is one of the most popular ESB in the industry. And it is open source.
- there is no up-to-date, concise and practical book for the ServiceMix newcomers.
- JBI is dead and should not be resurrected by writing books about it.
- ServiceMix makes system integration fun. We should appreciate this (since system integration is complicated by its nature) and spread our joy.
I'm glad that I'll partially fill this gap on the market.
